The authors’ backgrounds are in American history, Antebellum America, African American History, Western Civilization, World History, Food History and Society, History of Sport, U.S. Colonialism, Native Societies in the Americas, oral history and history pedagogy.

Language and Literature

These lessons and activities were designed by community college faculty in the fields of Literature and Language Arts. The authors teach classes in Film Studies, Spanish, English, Spanish and Latino Literature, Creative Non-fiction, poetry, developmental writing, advanced composition, and visual culture.
